Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at natalia@petal-pilates.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Petal offers a more intimate, intentional experience than a traditional Pilates studio. With just five reformers, semi-private classes allow for more personalized guidance, thoughtful pacing, and a stronger connection to your movement. The studio blends softness with strength through two distinct class styles, all within a beautifully designed space that feels elevated, personal, and welcoming. Built on devotion, not just discipline, Petal is designed to make movement feel meaningful — not mechanical.

The Petal Method is our take on contemporary Pilates — an athletic offering designed to strengthen and energize the body through intentional, strength-focused movement. Petal Roots takes a more grounded approach, with a focus on mobility, flexibility, and foundational strength. Both are rooted in intentional movement, but each offers a different feel and focus. Neither is more difficult than the other — they’re simply different.

Not at all! Petal is beginner-friendly. We’ll guide you through each step, and our instructors meet you where you are.

Yes, we offer private group experiences both at our studio and offsite. Private parties can be arranged in-studio, or we can bring Petal to you with a mat-based experience tailored to your event.

As long as you have clearance from your doctor, you’re welcome in our group classes. If you’d like to focus on specific needs, we recommend starting with private sessions.

A reformer Pilates class will involve a series of exercises that focus on core strength, flexibility, and balance. The reformer is a specialized machine with springs, straps, and a moving carriage to create resistance. Expect exercises that strengthen your core, improve posture, and build long, lean muscles, all while focusing on control, alignment, and breath. Classes are beginner-friendly, with options to modify or progress as you go.

Yes. Privates are great if you’re working through an injury, want extra attention, or prefer one-on-one training.
